Mokka-Maschine (5-teilig), 1923, Design: Theodor Bogler.

[Translate to English:] text

The five-part mocha machine by the ceramicist Theodor Bogler met Walter Gropius’s requirement that the ceramics workshop develop new form and model construction techniques for the serial production of everyday ceramic ware. Through the breakdown into modules and their standardised typologies, the mocha machine met Gropius’s demand for 'simplicity in multiplicity'.
